The Astros agreed to terms with five arbitration-eligible players on Friday, including All-Star starting pitchers Dallas Keuchel and Lance McCullers Jr. The club also announced deals for 2018 with catcher/designated hitter Evan Gattis, outfielder Jake Marisnick and pitcher Brad Peacock.
With a Friday deadline looming to exchange desired salary figures between teams and their arbitration-eligible players, the Astros on Thursday settled with outfielder Jake Marisnick on a $1.9 million salary for 2018, according to FanRag Sports.

Graduated from Riverside Poly High School in Riverside, Calif. in 2009...hit .495 (46x93) his junior year...hit .404 (36x89) his senior season with six homers, 31 RBI and 22 steals...was recognized as a first-team AllCIF (California Interscholastic Federation) selection in 2009...the two-sport athlete was also named an All-County and All-CIF Southern Section wide receiver in his junior season.
