Springer went on the DL a couple of weeks after Fowler went out with a strained intercostal muscle. Presley, who took over for Springer in center field, strained his oblique swinging the bat on July 7. The Astros had been playing Enrique Hernandez in center before trading him to the Marlins on Thursday.
