Astros make four roster moves

The Houston Astros have activated RHP Scott Feldman from the 15-day Disabled List and have optioned LHP Brett Oberholtzer to Triple A. Additionally, RHP Jose Cisnero has been placed on the 15-day Disabled List with right elbow discomfort and RHP Paul Clemens has been recalled from Triple A Oklahoma City. The announcements were made by Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow.

Feldman, 31, will start for the Astros in tonight's game against the Orioles in what will be his fifth start of the season. Prior to being placed on the DL with right biceps tendinitis on April 18, Feldman had gone 2-1 with a 1.69 ERA (5ER/26.2IP) in four starts for the Astros. He ranks fourth in the Majors in ERA and fifth in opponents' batting average (.176) among pitchers with at least 20.0 innings this season. Feldman was Houston's Opening Day starter after signing with the club during the offseason.

Clemens, 26, has made four appearances for the Astros this season. In his three games at the Triple A level this season, he has gone 1-0 with an 0.82 ERA (1ER/11IP) and 10 strikeouts in three games (one start).

Oberholtzer, 24, began the season with the Astros big club, making seven starts. Cisnero, 25, has been with the Astros since his recall from Triple A Oklahoma City on April 25.

The Astros 40-man roster remains at 39.
