Astroline, which is presented by Budweiser, will be broadcast live weekly from 7-8 p.m. CT during the offseason. The show will rotate between KTRH 740 AM and their sister station KBME 790 AM.
Crain, 32, was signed by the Astros as a free agent on Dec. 31, 2013. Last season, he was named an All-Star for the first time in his career after going 2-3 with a 0.74 ERA (3ER/36.2IP) and 46 strikeouts in 38 games with the White Sox. The 10-year Major League veteran has gone 45-30 with a 3.05 ERA (180ER/532IP) and 440 strikeouts in 532 career appearances.
Hamilton began his Hall of Fame radio career as a disc jockey on the Armed Forces Radio Network during Thanksgiving week in 1945. He retired from the Astros radio booth at the end of the 2012 season, which was his 28th with the Astros and his 59th year broadcasting Major League Baseball. Although he retired from calling games, Hamilton has remained active with the Astros and continues to host charity events, while making select appearances on game broadcasts.
