Behind a steady attack at the plate throughout the game, Aguilas got the win. The team was led by Dan Black and Wilin Rosario, who each had three hits. A three-run eighth inning proved to be the difference in the game. It all happened thanks to a three-run home run by Michael Taylor with two outs in the inning. It was his second long ball of the season. A bright spot for Carolina proved to be Bobby Bramhall, who allowed just one run on four hits in six innings of work. Box score
