Jesus Aguilar, the Indians' No. 17 prospect, provided the big blow for Caracas, smacking his eighth home run of the season. The three-run shot came in the fifth inning, when Caracas extended its lead to 7-0. Starter Tiago Da Silva tossed 4 2/3 scoreless frames and was backed up by five relievers, while Daniel Mayora added a homer and three RBIs. Zulia scored its runs on a third-inning error to take a 2-0 lead, then held on to win in a contest that featured no extra-base hits and 12 stranded runners.
