Astros at the plate: Lance Berkman hit his fourth homer of the spring, a solo shot in the fourth frame. Humberto Quintero drove in a run with a double in the eighth. Jose Cruz Jr. hit a two-run homer, his first of the spring, later in that frame.
Mets on the mound: Starter Nelson Figueroa allowed one run on one hit over four innings, walking three and striking out two. Jorge Sosa followed with three scoreless frames, striking out four.
Astros on the mound: Starter Chris Sampson pitched four scoreless innings before allowing five runs in the fifth. Rule 5 draftee Wesley Wright threw 1 2/3 scoreless frames in relief.
